This is Josie and she is 103 years of age. She is a lively resident at Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill Road.
When Josie heard that the Blessed Sacrament would be passing by her room she insisted on putting on her red lipstick and making herself look nice.
So on Sunday afternoon as a resident priest carried the Blessed Sacrament around the Home , Josie checked out with Sister and went to the door.
There, looking her best, she was able to reach out and greet the Lord as He passed by.
