If you are at this initial stage of discernment the best step to take is to contact the Little Sisters of the Poor at the home nearest you (see contacts/addresses). You can join the Sisters there for Mass, the Office (Liturgy of the Hours) and assist them in their care of the elderly in various ways. |
You will be welcome to discuss the possibility of spending some discernment time or a Vocation Discernment Retreat. This is a wonderful experience and perhaps the beginning of a life-long commitment to God, shared with others who need your love and care.contacts: See the link along the top of the page
