Ferrybank prays for Vocations

Mass for vocations was celebrated in Ferrybank on 27th August.Father Peter who is studying in Rome celebrated the Mass.

Father quoted from Pope Francis (Christus Vivit 276)

“In discerning your vocation, do not dismiss the possibilty of devoting yourself to God in the priesthood, the religious life or in other forms of consecration. Why not? You can be sure that if you do recognise and follow a call from God, there you will find complete fulfilment.”

Sisters of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Sisters from the Congregation of Mary Morning Star, joined us.

Sean played the organ, Mary Meagher and her daughters led the singing and St Paul’s youth group played an active roll in the liturgy.

Everything in our lives can become a way of responding to the Lord who has a wonderful plan for us.

Thank you for praying for vocations
